The informative online session ‘Are you enrolling at the UV?’ aims to inform future university students and their families about access, admission and enrolment at the Universitat de València. The session will be held online on 19 June at 12pm and can be accessed via the Conèixer la Universitat portal.

The session, organised by the Student Information and Promotion Service (Sedi), will be led by Cristina Villora, Sedi Information Technician, and Carlos Algarra, student of Journalism, and is produced by the the Audiovisual Workshop. The session will cover important questions and topics for future university students, such as pre-enrolment, waiting lists, registration, fees and exemptions, and services and resources for the university experience. Additionally, the participants can ask their questions through an online chat hosted by Sedi staff.

Pre-registration for the Valencian public university system will take place from 17 June to 5 July (at 2pm). The Universitat de València offers 8,800 first-year places for the 2024-2025 academic year, divided into 58 degrees and 13 double degrees, among which the new double degree in Audiovisual Communication + Journalism is being launched. Enrolment will be open from 15 to 18 July, on the day and at the time allocated to each admitted student.

New students will be offered informative and supportive initiatives to get them off to a good start in their studies, such as the Entreiguals mentorship, the Benvinguda a la Universitat or UVdisability. To complement the university experience, the University offers all of its students a wide variety of initiatives: language learning, sports, training, volunteering experiences, theatre, writing courses, travel grants and mobility and participation grants, among many other proposals.

‘Are you enrolling at the UV?’ is part of the Conèixer la UV programme, which also includes the Briefings for Guidance Professionals, the Visits to the UV, and the thematic website of Conèixer la UV. This is an initiative of the Office of the Vice-Principal of Studies coordinated by the Sedi and with the participation of all the Universitat de València centres.
