His board is formed by Juan Francisco Pardo (Secretary of the Faculty), Marisa Vázquez (Vice-Dean of Quality, Educative Innovation and International relationships), Marta García Carrión (Vice-Dean of Studies and Academic Organisation), Emilio Iranzo García (Culture and Student Participation) and José María Cruselles (Economics and Infrastructures).

Josep Montesinos i Martínez is a tenured professor in Art History at the Universitat de València since 1988. He graduated and got a doctorate in Geography and History at the University. This way, he has the title of professor and has worked as such in different Valencian towns from 1987 to 1997. He is a member of the Real Academia de la Historia.

He is the current coordinator of the Preventive Preservation of Artistic Patrimony plan, within the Master’s degree in Cultural Heritage: identification, analysis and UV management. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of the magazine “Saitabi i Ars Longa”. He has been the director of the International Centre of the University in Gandia and the magazine “Ars Longa Quaderns d’Art”. He has also been director of the Department of Art History and the doctoral programme of Art, scenery and visual culture; which received a quality award. He has been a member of different commissions of the University: Statutes, Teaching staff... He has also been a member of the University Senate. He wrote “Llibre Blanc de la Història de l’Art” and participated in several educational innovative projects.

He specializes in Ancient Art (Greece, Rome, Egypt, and Middle East) and Cultural Heritage. Regarding his investigation, the doctoral thesis addressed “Terra sigillata in the Valencian Country”. He conducted part of his research in the field of old ceramics. He expanded it to typological, commercial, economic, iconographic and linguistic issues through the study of graffiti in ceramics. He also dealt with Cultural Heritage issues: research, dissemination, teaching, defence... He has written alongside with other people books addressing several Valencian towns: Llíria, Bunyol, L’Eliana, Carlet, Nàquera, Torrent… In addition, he has a vision of patrimony in his social perspective: use, attachment, sustainability. He has a vision of heritage teaching too.

He has published numerous articles and chapters of books:  “Sobre una escena de hombre-ciervo en la Terra Sigillata Hispánica”, “Sigillatas hispánicas con graffitti”, “Aportaciones iconográficas sobre la Terra Sigillata Hispánica. Dos escenas y su posible significado”, “Ciudad, Patrimonio y Ciudadanía”…
