The Universitat de València keeps achieving great results at the European Universities Games (EUG) 2026. The women’s basketball team was declared the winner after achieving the gold medal. In addition, the men’s volleyball team finished their participation at the tenth place.
The women’s basketball team culminated with the achievement of the gold medal, being proclaimed the winners of the European Universities Games 2026 and consolidating the Universitat de València at the highest point of the European podium.
Meanwhile, the men’s volleyball team competed for several days against some of the best European universities, showing commitment, team-work, and a high level. The tenth place that they obtained shows the effort and dedication of the university community in one of the most important events of the European university sports.
These results reinforce the commitment of the Universitat de València to university sports and put into value the talent, work and dedication of the athletes in an international competition of high level.
