The Cultural Centre La Nau of the Universitat de València holds today Friday, 8th June, at 19:00, the round table “Fragilities of democracy. Consequences of the non-separation of State powers”. The event, which is part of the programme of the Forum of Debates of the Universitat de València, is organised by the Red Zading, the Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis (ELP) and the World Association of Psychoanalysis (AMP).

Andrés Perelló, Secretary of Justice, New Rights of the CEF-PSOE, will participate in the debate; also Luis Manglano, magistrate of the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community; Emilia Bolinches, journalist, member of the Transparency Commission of the Generalitat Valenciana; Teresa Ferrer, psychoanalyst and member of the ELP and AMP; and Ricardo Rubio, doctor, psychoanalyst and member of the ELP and AMP. The event will be presented by Margarita Bolinches, psychoanalyst, member of ELP and AMP; and Antonio Ariño, vice-principal for Culture and Sport of the Universitat de València.

The network International Zadig, created by Jacques- Alain Miller, aims to ensure that analytical discourse can influence policy through a specific organisation when collisions with reality will require. In light of those who prefer to be content with the idea that psychoanalysis is only in an "individual" clinic, Freud pointed out that there is no opposition between individual psychology and social psychology. With this orientation, Zadig-Valencia wanted to organise this cycle of meetings. It opens with this debate in conversation format, about the causes and consequences of what they have come to call the fragility of democracy.
