Universitat de València is first place in Spain for Economics Business and Geoscience and second place in Physics acoording to Taiwan

Universitat de València (UV) has gone up the Taiwan ranking, an international classification for university performance based on scientific publications and quotes. UV is the fourth best in Spain and first un València. It has also gone up in Europe and internationally in comparison to 2024 (4 and 5 places up respectivelly, landing the 82-84 placein Europe and 223 globally). In subjects, UV is first in Spain for Economics and Business; top 3 in Geoscience, second place in Agriculture Science and Physics; third place in Ecology, Environmental Science and Engineering; and top 3-5 in Spatial Science. It also places third in Spain in the Agriculture and Natural Science field.

The National Taiwan University Ranking (NTU) updated its data on 10 September. It was released in 2027 by the Ministry of Evaluation and Credentials of High Education in Taiwan with 1228 universities registered.

In other subjects, UV is fourth place in Clinical Medicine, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Microbiology, Molecular and Genetic Biology and Material Sciences; top 4-5 in Chemistry; top 4-6 in Social Sciences and Electri Engineering. Uv is among the 4 best universities of Spain in 19 subjects, first place in 16 of them in València. For the international aspect, UV highlights were Agrictulture Sciences (38) and Physics (108).

In fields of knowledge, UV leads 5 of the 6 areas (Agriculture, Life Science, Natural Science, Social Science and Medicine), third place in Spain for Agriculture and Natural Science, fourth place in Medicine and Social Sciences. Globally, UV places 163rd in Agriculture, 148th in Natural Science ad 236th in Medicine.

The ranking leaders are Harvard, Stanford and the University College of London; in Europe, leaders are the same university from London, Oxford and Cambridge; and in Spain, University of Barcelona, Complutense University of Madrid, Autonomous University of Barcelona and Univeristat de València.
