One of the challenges for Maria Ortuño is to try to keep carrying on a life as normal as possible in these so doubtful and changing times to face the confinement and the face-to-face teaching suspension due to the global pandemic of coronavirus.
'Teaching continues online on platforms such as Microsoft Teams, where we receive live classes and on Aula Virtual, where material for classes are uploaded,' explains the student of the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication.
The Information Technologies (ICT) also help her to be in contact with the teachers via e-mail, where doubts are solved. With the student fellows of Audiovisual Communication I make conferences via Skype and we also use Google Drive to continue with team works,' says Maria Ortuño.
The idea of Maria of being able to maintain a clear order in this new situation is not stopped by the confinement to prevent the spread of the virus. 'I try to keep the same routine as before by spending the same time on each subject as if it was face-to-face,' she asserts.
Maria Ortuño's positivism and versatility are evident in her last sentence: It's not the same as being in class physically, but we're making an effort to adapt and continue the academic year in the best possible way'.
