Núria Muriana is studying the second year of the Degree in Medicine at the Universitat de València, confined at her home and facing the uncertainty that we currently experience. She continues planning her studies 'as if we have exams in the established period.' She sent us this video, where she gives us details in face of the temporary suspension of presential teaching and makes a personal statement about this exceptional situation.
Regarding her lectures at the Faculty of Medicine, Núria affirms: 'every day I check my e-mail to see the updates that the teachers have made in the Aula Virtual and I try to study as if we were in a normal period.' difficulty of these days and explains the complexity of being able to coordinate and to organise on issues such as the practical issues, 'which you have to do at home and you didn't do before.'
Núria is fully aware of the complicated times we are currently experiencing in and tries to do her best: 'I'm trying to collaborate with the measures established by the government to curb this virus. That's why I stay at home and support all my colleagues, because we are all very stressed since we don't know how to deal with the study. The teaching of some of the teachers is not helping that much.'
On an emotional level, Núria tells us that 'it is a pretty tough period because we live every day in uncertainty about how things will continue.' In addition, she has been directly affected by Covid-19, since unfortunately she has relatives who have died of coronavirus and 'this makes it impossible to have a normal life', she recalls.
Finally, Núria Muriana concludes the video claiming that 'all this brings a stressful environment that does not allow students to study as if they were at the Universitat.'
