Novelties on the functioning of the waiting lists in the Universitat de València for the 2025 academic year

The Universitat de València, like the five Valencian public universities, counts with important changes in the process of management of waiting lists for the access to the University degrees that affect all students that have not obtained a place in their first option after the pre-enrolment. The main novelty is that the waiting lists will be managed directly by the Government of the Valencian Community.
The Universitat de València publishes today the admission results to the university degrees that it offers. Once these results are known, the student who has not been accepted in the first option of the applied degree will have assigned a number of order on the waiting list. However, it must be taken into account that if students have been accepted in second or successive options, to not loose the assigned place, they must formalise the enrolment in the assigned deadlines, if not, we will understand that the place has been refused.
Autonomic centralisation and coordination
As main novelty, from this course on all calls of waiting lists will be centralised in the Government of the Valencian Community (GVA) and will be common of the five public universities of the Valencian Community. This measure wants to fasten and unify the procedure, avoiding duplicities and improving the transparency.
Permanence mandatory confirmation
Students that wish to stay on the waiting lists will need to confirm their interest just once in the comprehended deadline between Saturday, 12 July and Wednesday, 16 July, 2025, finishing at 2:00pm on this last day. If said confirmation is not done through the pre-enrolment university platform, the system will automatically exclude the applier of the lists, loosing this way the possibility of being accepted in the desired titulations.
The confirmation will be done on the pre-enrolment website: www.preinscripcion.gva.es.
In the case this confirmation is not done, the programme will exclude the student automatically from the lists, that way, they will loose the option of being admitted in the corresponding university degrees. Students who have confirmed the continuity in the waiting lists can deny said continuity in the degrees that they wish inside the same website of university pre-enrolment.
The accepted students in a place from the waiting list will have to rigorously follow the enrolment deadlines that can be consulted in this website
The results of these successive allocations will be able to be consulted also in the platform of pre-enrolment
Appointment and registration:
After each allocation of places, the results will be able to be consulted in the pre-enrolment platform. If the student obtains a place from the waiting list and they are already enrolling for another degree, it will be necessary to deny the previous enrolment before formalising the new one. This process can be repeated as many times as the student is accepted in a degree of greater preference.
Management after the first allocation
After the last allocation, the management of left places will become a direct competence from each university, that will contact the corresponding students.
Complaints
If any complaint has been done during the pre-enrolment and it has been accepted, the result can include two situations: be in degrees of waiting list or be in assigned degrees.
In the case of being in degrees of waiting list, these will be assumed by default, and they can be refused. If they are not refused, the student will be included in the posterior allocations as of the date of publication of the resolution.
In the case of the assigned degree, the student will have to get in contact with the centre to manage the enrolment.
