The team competitions will begin the second week of November.  

Team competitions

• UV Championship:The Universitat organises internal competitions in different sports, of which the champion teams of the Universitat de València are proclaimed every year.

University competitions are academically recognised.  This way, the students of the Universitat who take part in the internal competition will obtain an (1) ECTS credit per season and the people who compete in External Competition (such as CADU or CEU) and University International Championships, representing the Universitat allows obtaining 1.5 ECTS credits.

In team sports, the sports on offer are male basketball, mixed basketball, 3x3 basketball, male futsal, women’s futsal, male football 7, mixed football 7 and mixed volleyball. (The entire offer is available on the SEF’s website: www.uv.es/sef)

Teams are formed on the initiative of the people interested in being represented by a team official, who can participate as a player and being in charge of relations with the organization team.

• Principal’s Trophy A competition that culminates the internal competition activities of each course. The participating sports are: male football 7, male futsal and women’s futsal, male and mixed basketball, male and mixed 3x3 basketball, and mixed volleyball.

Registration

The registration process is done through automatrícula‘competiciones’.

Individual sports

As for individual sports, sports registration is personal and UV offers athletics, badminton, chess, fencing, frontenis, judo, kendo, orientation, paddle Valencian pilota, taekwondo, tennis, table tennis, archery, triathlon and beach volleyball.  

Badminton, orientation, paddle, tennis and table tennis have already opened their registrations.
