Security alert: Fraudulent emails concerning enrolment fee payment detected

Universitat de València informs about a phishing case: forged official communication about a delayed payment of the enrolment fees ascending to 1250 €.
These fraudulen emails present the following features:
- They notice a payment delay of enrolment fees and ask for an urgent deposit of 1250 €.
- They threaten to take legal action in case of non-payment.
- They use fake email addresses imitating official institutions.
- They can include external links and ask for personal or bank data.
Recommendations
Universitat de València reminds the university community that:
- You must not reply these emails nor click on any link they have.
- You must not deposit any money or provide personal data.
- You must delete these mails immediately.
Universitat de València will never provide a bank account for you to make a deposit regarding enrolment fees.
