Student Rosa Pla wins the Cañada Blanch Foundation Award

Thanks to this award, Rosa gets a grant of 7,000 euros to finance a 3-month stay at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Rosa Pla Almendros, a double graduate in Law and Business Administration from the Universitat de València, is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Law, Business and Justice at the UV, and her research focuses on the Digital Services Regulations, in the area of Private International Law. This grant will allow her to develop her research project entitled: "The Digital Services Act in the context of the digital single market and beyond".
Thanks to the Cañada Blanch - UV Award, Rosa has access to the facilities and resources provided by the LSE, thus connecting her to the best academic network in the UK. During her stay, she will be able to attend seminars, workshops and network with leading international academics.
The award ceremony was held at the Universitat's Principal's building and was attended by principal M. Vicenta Mestre, the president of the Cañada Blanch Foundation, Juan Viña; who were accompanied by the vice-principal for Lifelong Learning, Teaching Transformation and Employment and member of the jury, Ángeles Solanes; the member of the jury and professor of the UV, Carmen Azcárraga; the also member of the jury and professor of the UV, Mireia López; the director of the FCB, Paula Sánchez; and the professor of the UV, Guillermo Palao, as well as her parents.
