The top 100 PAU and NAU marks in the UV

The University of Valencia hosted on Thursday 29 June the acknowledgement to the top 100 marks in the University Entrance Examinations (PAU) and University Entrance Marks (NAU) of the assessment committees with headquarters in The University of Valencia.

The University of Valencia has once again held an event to celebrate the acknowledgement to the top students in the University Entrance Examinations (PAU) and University Entrance Marks (NAU) of the assessment committees with headquarters in The University of Valencia.

In total, 135 students, 46 young men and 89 young women, received the acknowledgement from the principal of the University of Valencia, Mª Vicenta Mestre, from the vice-principal of Studies, Isabel Vázquez, and from the delegate of the Principal for University Integration, Mª José Lorente.

70 of them are among the top 100 PAU and NAU, 33 among the top entrance examination marks (PAU) and 32 among the top entrance marks (NAU).

These students belong to 68 public and private schools in Valencia, which were represented at this event, held at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of the University of Valencia, on the Blasco Ibáñez Campus.

The deans of the Faculty of Biological Sciences, Economics, Medicine, Philosophy and Educational Sciences, Social Sciences, Physics, Philology, Translation and Communication, Nursing and Podiatry, Pharmacy, Psychology and Speech Therapy, Chemistry, Geography and History and Physiotherapy were present, as well as the vice-dean of Quality, Formation and Social Projection of the Faculty of Law and the secretary of the Faculty of Teacher Training.

The University of Valencia is the first valencian university in training catalogue, number of centres and areas of knowledge, as well as in research results.

In addition, the University of Valencia is ranked as the first university in Europe in receiving international students, the first in participation and results in sporting competitions, and the third Spanish university in research results, being one of the top 100 universities in Europe and one of the top five Spanish universities worldwide.
