183 teams made up of 733 students and 156 teachers. These are the participation figures of the 2021 edition of the MOTIVEM team ideas competition, which confirm its success despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic.

In order to develop and present their ideas, the teams were trained in subjects such as emotion management, effective communication, mathematics for organising resources, sustainable development goals and intellectual property.

All of the 18 centres that make up the University of Valencia have participated in this edition of MOTIVEM. Out of all the participating teams, 20 will be finalists and five prizes will be awarded, one per branch of knowledge: Architecture and Engineering, Arts and Humanities, Sciences, Health Sciences, and Social and Legal Sciences. Moreover, 15 second prizes will be awarded.

What is MOTIVEM?
MOTIVEM is an initiative from the University of Valencia and the University-Business Foundation ADEIT, run by the Office of the Vice-principal for Employment and Training Services, which has the economic support of the Valencian government, within the framework of their Innovative Entrepreneurship Campus programme, and of the “la Caixa” Foundation through CaixaBank. MOTIVEM fosters the generation of ideas in teams of students coordinated by the teaching staff.
