The Governing Council approved, last 9 March, the ‘Action protocol on psychosocial risk factors at the Universitat de València’, which condemns labour violence because it is an ‘attack to the dignity of people who form the university’.

This protocol answers to the agreement of promoting health  purchased by the European Network of Sustainable Universities, from which the Universitat de València is member. Elaborated by the Commission of Psychosocial Risks and approved successively by the Security and Health Committee, and the Negotiating Table, the ‘Action protocol on psychosocial risk factors at the Universitat de València’ is part of the strategy line for the creation of an university environment which promotes security and health.

This protocol is an actuation oriented to get a healthy work environment, focused on organizational an psychosocial factors, which has to involve the whole academical institution.

This way, the ‘Action protocol on psychosocial risk factors’ takes preventive actions to evaluate and control factors with psychosocial factors which may suppose a risk for workers of the Universitat, like interpersonal conflicts and the lack of social support, for example; and condemns labour violence, which is considered ‘an attack to the dignity of people who form the university’.
