Universitat de València is leader in Spain for three subjects according to the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP), first position in 38 out 48 fields in the Valencian Community. It is among the 100 best in the world for Food Engineering (61st place), Business (68th place) and Library Science and Documentation (91st place), and among the best two hundred in 18 other subjects.
UV heads the ranking of Spain with Trade, Management, Tourism and Services; Economics; and Business. It holds second place in spain with Public, Environmental and Labour Health Care; Archaeology; and Education. An it's third place in Food Engineering; Library Science and Documentation; Environmental Science; Earth Science; Atmospherical Science; Environmental Engineering; Agricultures; Sociology; and Biological Science.
Universitat de València is also first place in 38 out of 48 fields in the Valencian Community.
UV improved its placement in fields like Agriculture; Archaeology; Biological Science; Earth Science; Vet Science; Education; Sustainable and Renewable Energy; Pharmacology; Physics; Material Engineering; Language, Communication and Culture; Math; and Public, Environmental and Labour Health Care.
URAP aims to develop a classification system for universities from all around the globe based on academic results by quality and amount of academic publications. The ranking by fields was updated in September. Bibliometric data was provided by Web of Science – Clarivate Analytics.
