Nau Digital in action
The Vice-Principal for Culture and Sport of the Universitat de València has intensified the 'Nau Digital' project during this health emergency. Throughout these months, all the Cultural Classrooms of the Universitat de València and cultural programs have adapted their contents to the digital format with initiatives such as 'Literature in times of pandemics' (Aula de Literatura), online training (Aula de Còmic, Aula d'Arts Escèniques, Aula de Literatura, WebinarsLaNau, Escola Europea de Pensament Lluís Vives, training for minors and adolescents through the program 'Art i Ment'...) In addition, initiatives such as the online short film festival, DocuVir.20, which began last April, have also emerged, with the aim of offering, in the midst of the pandemic and the global confinement by Covid-19, the positive side of a historical experience that has affected all dimensions of human life and social organization. The competition has received a very favourable response, with a total of 54 short films having been selected that share reflections and reflect social and solidarity practices that have emerged in the context of this situation. The selected short films have been published on the YouTube Channel of the Centre Cultural La Nau since the end of April and can now be seen in full on this channel and voted on by the public using this form, as there is a prize of 150 euros for the best film voted on by the public. The period will remain open until June 30th.
