The Universitat leads the degree programmes with the highest cut-off mark, and covers the 99,7 % of its academic offer

The Universitat de València covered the 99,7 % of the 9.019 first-year positions that offered for 2026-2027. From the 10 most in demand degree programmes of all the Valencian university public system, 5 of them correspond to the Universitat de València, what turns the academic institution into the leader of the degree programmes with the highest cut-off mark. Moreover, 40 degree programmes that the university offers require a cut-off mark superior than 10. The double degree in Physics and Mathematics remains as the highest cut-off mark of the University.
The academic institution offered a total of 9.019 places for the 2026-2027 academic year, distributed in 59 degree programmes and 16 double degrees. In addition, four degrees of the Universitat de València are among the highest cut-off marks of the Valencian university public system: The double degree in Physics and Mathematics, with a 13,441 –slightly decreased from last year that was a 13,578– remains as the highest cut-off mark of the University, followed by Medicine with a 13,171 (last year was 13,202) and the double degree in Mathematics and Computer Engineering with 12,968 (last year was 13,022), and the degree in Dentistry, which this year remains among the ten highest cut-off marks with a 12,976. Both degrees in which there are still places are: History of Art, with 20 places, and Translation and Interlinguistic Mediation of German with 7 places. Moreover, if we also count with the degree programmes assigned to the Universitat de València, the total offer increases to 9.474 places, of which 23 places remain free in the degree in Primary School Education in Florida University.
In the classification of the 10 most requested degrees of the whole Valencian university system, five of them belong to the Universitat de València, three of which occupy the first top positions. The degree programmes are: Medicine (2.813 requests), Psychology (1.439 requests), Nursing (1.397 requests), Dentistry (1.037 requests), and Primary School Teacher (1.008 requests).
In the classification of the most requested degrees at the Universitat de València there is Medicine –with 4.935 requests for 336 places–, Nursing –with 3.940 requests for 325 places–, Psychology –with 2.838 requests for 450 places–, Primary School Teacher –with 1.929 requests for 500 places–, Physiotherapy –with 1.926 requests for 160 places–, Dentistry with 1.801 requests for 80 places–, Pharmacy –with 1.668 requests for 208 places–, Teacher in Preschool Education –with 1.439 requests for 300 places in Valencia–, and Physical Activity and Sport Sciences –with 1.432 requests for 142 places in Valencia.
In terms of branches of knowledge, Health Sciences maintains an elevated demand. Medicine has 4.041 people on the waiting list for 336 places, followed by Nursing (3.332 for 325 places), Psychology (2.309 for 450 places), Physiotherapy (1.669 for 160 places) and Dentistry (1.597 for 80 places). Moreover, Medicine (13,171) and Dentistry (12,976) are among the highest cut-off marks of the Valencian university system.
Science and Engineering consolidate their excellence. The double degree in Physics and Mathematics reaches the highest cut-off mark of the UV (13,441), while Biochemistry (12,842), Mathematics (12,096), Biotechnology (11,834) and Physics (12,298) represent very elevated marks and, along with said double degree, they have more than 3.000 people on the waiting list.
Social and Legal Sciences maintain a great attractive among students. ADE (896 people on the waiting list), Law (674), Criminology (633), Economy (526), and Labour Relations (474). In the international field, International Business reaches a cut-off mark of 11,491 and 721 people on the waiting list, while Business Intelligence and Analytics have a mark of 11,608.
Arts, Humanities and Education also show a solid demand. Primary School Teacher has 1.397 people on the waiting list for 500 places, Preschool Education 1.128 for 300 places in Valencia, while Pedagogy (641), Audiovisual Communication (372), Journalism (294), and Social Education (472) confirm the attractive side of a wide and balanced academic offer.
The Ontinyent campus, for its part, maintains a consolidated offer for students. Nursing reaches a cut-off mark of 11,604 and has 2.028 people on the waiting list for 65 places, while Physical Activity and Sport Sciences has 453 people on the waiting list for 50 places. Preschool Education also maintains a prominent demand (359 people on the waiting list) and ADE (85), what consolidates the strategic role of the campus in the academic offer of the Universitat de València.
The Vice-rector for Studies and Quality –Javier Roca–, underlined the popularity of the Universitat de València among students when taking the decision on where to study, as the elevated demand and the numerous waiting lists show.
The enrolment will be completed online between next Monday, 13 and 15, July at 11:59pm. The waiting lists, as last year, will be managed from the Generalitat. Now, it is important to take into account that students must confirm their interest on continuing on the waiting list. The information is available on the website www.uv.es/espera.
