Five monographs published by the UV Publications Service (PUV) has received the CEA-APQ Seal of Academic Publishing Quality managed by the Spanish Universities Publishing Houses Association (UNE) and promoted by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain (ANECA) and the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT).

In the ceremony, which took place at the ANECA headquarters, were present representing the Universitat de València Ester Alba, Vice-Principal for Culture and Society of the UV, and Teresa Ferrer, director of the PUV, who retrieved the five quality seals, four for works published solely by the publishing house of the Universitat, and one for a work co-edited with the Pompeu Fabra University, the Universitat Jaume I and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, in the collection Aldea Global. These five seals turned the publishing house of the Universitat de València in the most awarded of this first edition.

This CEA-APQ seal certifies that these monographs comply with the nine required indicators regarding quality and information transparency (identification of the monograph, online availability and inclusion of metadata), quality of the editorial policy (availability of scientific or editorial committee and editorial policy of the publishing house) and quality of the editorial process and scientific evaluation (instructions for the presentation of manuscripts, information about the selection process for manuscripts, external evaluation reports and reasoned communication of the decision to publish the work).

Juan Ramón Muñoz Sánchez (‘Oberta’ collection)
