The severe consequences of the DANA that has hit the Valencian Community, and in particular the province of Valencia, require the Universitat de València (UV) keep emergency management activated and to adapt its protocols and general provisions to the changing situation.

This catastrophe has impacted directly on the members of our university community, many of whom have suffered severe damages to their homes and personal belongings on top of the effects on their personal and family lives. Additionally, the infrastructure network has suffered grave damages, which could limit the displacement capacity of the university community.

This Instruction regulates the attention and flexibility measures work and studies related for the people affected by the DANA of October 2024:

• Extraordinary flexibility measures for the students.
• Extraordinary flexibility measures for the personnel.
• Flexibility measures for the services providing companies.
• Attention measures for the affected people.
• Volunteering activities.
