Table tennis

On Tuesday, 20 February, the last CADU table tennis day was held at the Universitat de València's sports facilities. In the team competition, UV was the champion, followed by the University of Alacant and University Miguel Hernandez.

In the women's individual competition, our athletes Carla Hernández and Marianyela Barriga came second and third respectively. In the men's category, Sergi Gómez won the gold medal and Beñat Morgan the silver one.

Karate and Trail championships were also held this past weekend. 

Karate

The participation in the Karate competition on Saturday, 17 February at the Sports Pavilion of the UMH was an absolute success. Practically, every UV Karateka won a medal. In total, they won 18 medals in individual competition, divided into 4 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 6 bronze medals. Consequently, the gold medal for teams also went to the UV.

Trail running

As for the Trail competition held on Sunday, 19 February at CEU Cardenal Herrera, the performance of the Universitat de València was slightly more modest. Candela Benlloch Carcel took silver in the women category, while in the men category, the best position for our athletes was for David Collado Chazarra, who came fourth. The UV came also fourth in team competition.
