The principal of the University of Valencia, Maria Vicenta Mestre, accompanied by the general manager of the University, Juan Vicente Climent, the regional secretary for Innovation and Digital Transformation, D. Jordi Juan Huget, and the director of the Lluís Alcanyís Foundation, José Manuel Almerich, visited the facilities of the Dental Practice to learn first-hand the tasks carried out by  professionals and students, as well as to identify what they require.

During the visit, which was guided by the director of the Dental Practice, Ms. Filomena Estrella, they toured the different facilities and departments distributed in the five floors. The importance of the practice to complement both the teaching and research activities of the University and the services provided to society was highlighted, and the need to improve spaces in order to adapt the clinics to the requirements of the new paradigm of dentistry with regard to new specialisations was also stressed.

The Dental Practice was underlined as the epicentre of the University Clinics network, and the social and health services that the University of Valencia makes available to the public were also emphasised. The clinic is equipped with unique teaching facilities, specialised in the health sector, in which health care training activities are carried out to improve the learning processes of the students of the University of Valencia, as well as research related to its area of activity.

The Dental Practice of the University of Valencia is located in the Blasco Ibáñez Campus and is integrated in an urban environment easily accessible for citizens.
