Rankings I-UGR

​In a ranking including public and private universities based on the research published in international journals of great impact and visibility and is elaborated by research groups of the University of Granada.

The main goal of this ranking is to find out strengths and weaknesses of the Spanish university system when it comes to research. The aim is to know its ability to elaborate knowledge on different scientific fields and disciplines.

This ranking shows results concerning 12 scientific fields y 37 scientific disciplines so that it is easier to capture which specialities are the most influential at universities. Likewise, universities are listed according the IFQ2A-Index, which summarises 6 bibliometric indicators of scientific production and impact calculated from data bases from Thomson Reuters - Web of Science and Journal Citation Reports. Wide temporal series are used. In the case of the 5th edition, results for the quinquennium 2009-2013 and the decade of 2004-2013 are offered.
