The Middle East conflict

All in all, the current course tries to analyse the Middle East conflict, its origins and current situation as well as its implications for the safe in the States of the region and its surrondings, specially in the European Union.

The course focuses in particular on the analysis of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the conflict in Syria, the fight for hegemony in the region between Iran and Saudi Arabia, terrorism and the presence of foreign militants in the region and, finally, the repercussions of all these conflicts on the countries of the Mediterranean basin and their security, especially the European Union.
