The vision of the ClioViz project is to leverage current technologies to extract the best possible information from massive datasets, synthesizing it into visual forms that combine scientific visualisations and interactive maps. We seek to obtain meaningful information from datasets within the field of Cultural Heritage, with a special focus on displaying complex multi-spatial and multi-temporal variables, benefiting from visualisation strategies derived from GIS and scientific representations.
