It is both a privilege and a duty to lead an institution as crucial to the economic development of our community as the UV Board of Trustees.

The Universitat de València, with a history of over five centuries, is currently one of the foremost academic institutions in Spain, both in teaching and research quality.

The Board of Trustees is confronted with significant – and highly inspiring – challenges. I firmly believe that university studies must be adapted to the needs of an ever-changing society. Furthermore, we aim to ensure that all UV research projects have the opportunity and the resources to become spin-offs.

Consequently, the Board of Trustees works every day with the support of its members, who represent all sectors within society, including administrations, business, trade unions and professional associations.

With their support, I will dedicate my expertise and enthusiasm to advancing the Board of Trustees’ mission of representing society at the UV.
