The University of Valencia's board of trustee has held, this tuesday, its first plenary session after naming Manuel Broseta president of this university's government body on last 24 June. Carlos Pascual, former board of trustee's president, has also taken part in this first meeting chaired by Manuel Broseta.

The Principal of the University, Esteban morcillo, the University registrar, Mª José Añón and the general manager, Joan Oltra, who are honorary members of this government body of the University's society participation, as well as all the member of the government team, have attended to this plenary session.

Manuel Broseta has showed his satisfaction expressing in his specch that he feels "very connected personally and familiarly" to the Universitat of Valencia, institution in which he has been educated and in which he has educated. "It is an honour and a responsability for me to chair the University's board  of trustee", he affirmed.

On his behalf, Carlos Pascual has shown his gratitude to the members of the board of trustee as well as to his administration employees because of their colaboration through all the years in which he has had "the honour of chairing this government body of the University of Valencia".

Besides welcoming the new board of trustee's president, the Principal Esteban Morcilla has highlighted the person of Carlos Pascual and his role through the years who has taken the maximum responsability of this university government body, at the same time he has expressed his will and the University of Valencia's executive council's will of working together with the board of trustee in order to continue turning the University of Valencia into an model institution for the Valencian Society at an international level.
