The Laboratory of Comparative Functional Neuroanatomy was established in 1990 by Fernando Martínez-García. Since then we work to understand the brain and its function. Brain function can only be understood if we study animal behaviour. And understanding the brain can only be done by studying it in several vertebrates.
As members of the university community we research to generate knowledge and transmit it by publishing articles and books and by teaching at many levels. If you wish to help in the teaching or dissemination of neuroscience, do not hesitate to contact us.
