The Central Unit for Research in Medicine (UCIM) is a mixed research support structure belonging to the Central Service for Experimental Research (SCSIE) of the University of Valencia and attached to the INCLIVA Health Research Institute. The UCIM offers the research community and society a series of cutting-edge scientific-technical services with application in biomedicine.
Aware that quality is a priority in the development of our activity, we have established and implemented a quality management system in accordance with the international standard UNE-EN-ISO 9001, in order to systematize our processes and ensure the satisfaction of our users and the motivation of our staff.
To this purpose, the UCIM management assumes the following commitments:
- Identify, satisfy and comply with the requirements of our users, as well as those legal, regulatory and those of our own organisation, which may affect the implementation of our service and the quality objectives that emanate from this policy.
- Maintain, correct and continually improve the effectiveness of the system of Quality Management System.
- Establish actions and programmes aimed at prevention as a way of reducing errors and increasing user satisfaction.
- Review the application of the quality policy periodically in order to adapt it to the nature of our activities and the strategies of the institutions it depends on.
- Disseminate our quality policy within the UCIM and make it available to stakeholders.
- Researchers, staff, users and other stakeholders can participate in the improvement of the implemented quality system by sending their suggestions to the Suggestions, Complaints and Compliments Mailbox of the Universitat de València.
