The "Women's Legacy" project aims to make a decisive contribution to the inclusion of women protagonists of history and culture and their legacy in educational content.
The event "Women's Legacy: Our Cultural Heritage for Equity" will be the presentation of the project's products and will take place on Friday May 6th from 9.30 h at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia (Avda. Profesor López Piñero, n.º 1. Valencia 46013). During the event, the following resources (which will be online, open and accessible) will be presented:
- A resource bank linked to each educational system with activities and works, always framed within a subject and a course and in relation to the normative contents to facilitate their use in the classroom. This resource bank will be transferable to any other European (or global) education system thanks to the design of its IT platform.
- A catalogue of literary works by women.
- A catalogue of artistic and audiovisual works by women.
- A catalogue of musical works by women.
- STEM training, which will be provided to secondary school and university teachers in all participating countries.
The project is designed to be transferable to any educational system and as a collaborative, formative and transformative tool for educational systems. It is now a question of using it. It is in progress and will continue to grow and be completed, also in several languages.
