After two years of hiatus, we are back on the streets to celebrate a better world and to support Fair Trade as we do best... partying!

On Saturday 14th May we celebrated World Fair Trade Day around the world, as we do every year on the second Saturday in May. This year we ask everyone, and especially young people, to change their consumption habits in order to move towards a fairer and more sustainable system that respects the human rights of the people who produce what we consume and protects nature.

We do it with the campaign "I consume, I add up". Join this great movement to revolutionise the world! How, by coming to the celebrations that we organise in Valencia, Castellón and Alicante, getting to know each other and the organisations that work for fair trade from close to home.

Fair Trade Festivities May 2022 - Comunitat Valenciana

• València, Sunday 29 May

We close the celebrations of World Fair Trade Day with a big party on the last Sunday of May, in the Town Hall Square in Valencia. Throughout the day we will have a market selling fair trade products and children's activities.

There will also be graffiti and batukada workshops for children and young people, and performances by La Colla en Ruta with Dani Miquel and Les Feretes at 17:30h + urban culture: urban dances, breakdance demos, freestyle exhibition with Mc Erika2Santos and concert by MC Tanaka from 18:30h. Book the date!

• Castelló, Saturday 21 May

We are waiting for you in Castelló de la Plana to celebrate the International Cooperation and Fair Trade Day between 10:30 and 14h. We will have stalls selling food, crafts and other fair trade products and activities and workshops for children and young people (gymkhana, Parkour workshop, rap workshop in Valencià, with the collaboration of Esplais, Let's Grow and Malparlat).

We will also have performances by Las Hijas de la Cumbia and Marparlat. Join the party!

• Alicante, Sunday 15 May

See you from 11am to 3pm at the celebration in the streets of Alicante for World Fair Trade Day, in the Avenida de la Estación, with stalls selling food, crafts and other fair trade products, entertainment and children's workshops.
We will also have performances by the Big Band L'Harmonia, Batukada Danae and the rappers Yaike and MC Tanaka. Come and celebrate that another world and another way of consuming is possible, we are waiting for you!
