External placements are an essential part of training at the Universitat de València. They allow students to apply the knowledge acquired and engage with professional reality, while at the same time strengthening links with the social and business environment. Their aim is to apply and expand knowledge gained during the degree, while developing key professional competencies that contribute to improving employability and entrepreneurial capacity. They take place in companies or institutions under the supervision of an academic tutor and a tutor from the collaborating organisation.

Types:

• Curricular: integrated into the study plan.
• Extracurricular: voluntary and not included in the study plan.

They are managed by ADEIT, through the UVpràctiques service, located at Espai Vives.
