Ramón Villaplana and Oscar Barberà attend the event held in Brussels

The 14th European Public Communication Conference (EuroPCom) was held on 26 and 27 June 2023. This edition, which took place at the headquarters of the European Parliament and the Committee of the Regions in Brussels, had the motto “Communicating Democracy, Communicating Europe”. The opening was carried out by Othmar Karas, First Vice-President of the European Parliament.

Over the two days, several panels and networking activities were held where views were exchanged with various institutional representatives, academics and interest groups. Much of the content focused on the fight against disinformation and political communication, as well as on citizen consultation processes, such as the Conference on the Future of Europe, promoted by the European Commission.
