Several panels party digital democratic innovations were organized

Digipol members Marco Guglielmo and Oscar Barberà attended the 2024 Congress of the Conference for European Studies which this year was held at Lumière 2 University and Sicences Po in Lyon between July 3 and 5.

Oscar Barberà organized, together with Fabio Lupato, Marco Meloni and Valeria Tarditi, three panels on digital democratic innovations in political parties.

The panels included presentations by Marco Guglielmo, Jasmin Fitzpatrick, Dániel Oross, Petia Gueorguieva, Daniela R. Piccio, Sorina Soare. Fabio Lupato, Valeria Tarditi and Oscar Barberà also presented various roles.

The event served to promote the collaboration of all these academics with a view to a future joint collaboration in an edited book and, possibly, in a Special Issue in an academic journal
