Workshop announcement

The event brought together various Spanish and international academics and stakeholders

How do progressive political actors face the digital revolution? To what extent is the digital revolution shaping progressive ideas and defining new challenges and perspectives?

The online workshop 'Progressive Politics and Digital Revolution' held in May 2022 gave the opportunity to open a discussion based on these questions through a dialogue between academics, politicians and activists.

The sessions were divided into three panels, each of them introduced by international leaders on economics, politics and digital governance. In addition, representatives of the Valencian Government and experts who collaborate with the Government of Spain participated in the event. More than one hundred people from fourteen countries attended the workshop.

The event was financed by the Pagoda Chair on Open Government, Participation and Open Data of the University of Valencia through the support of the Interuniversity Institute of Local Development of the UV and the Generalitat Valenciana.
