The 7th edition of the Summer School will take place from June 30 to July 4, 2025, in person, featuring theoretical and practical sessions focused on smart cities, cybersecurity, biostatistics, neuroscience, busiess analysis, data visualization, investigative journalism, and the analysis of the rise of populism through social media. This edition also includes an online component before and after the in-person week.

With a multidisciplinary approach, the School of Engineering, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Mathematics, and the Faculty of Philology, Translation, and Communication jointly organize a summer school aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in deepening their knowledge of tools and applications in a rapidly growing sector. The Summer School features professors from various European universities, distinguished professionals in data management, and leaders of companies that have developed data-driven applications. The program also includes three sessions dedicated to fostering data-driven business projects, mentored by start-up experts and professionals who have launched their own companies.

The Summer School will be held in English and will host a maximum of 40 students. It is part of the Erasmus BIP (Blended Intensive Programme) mobility initiative at the University of Valencia (UV), and participants will receive 3 ECTS credits. A limited number of spots are available for undergraduate, master's, and postgraduate students from the School of Engineering (ETSE).

The registration period is open from June 17 to June 22 (until 11:00 PM) via the UV electronic platform under “Summer School 2025”.
