Mathematics is the fundamental science behind applications such as cybersecurity, high-speed telecommunications networks or massive data processing, sectors led by telematics engineering. The double degree program provides a strong training that combines an important mathematical basis with extensive specific knowledge of Telematics Engineering, together with the necessary skills and abilities to understand and exploit the existing interrelationships between both disciplines.

The training acquired by graduates in Mathematics and Telematics Engineering provides a job profile with a broad capacity for employment and adaptation in very diverse and cutting-edge sectors, both related to Telecommunications, IT and ICT in general, as well as the financial sector, scientific research, teaching or data analysis and statistics. In addition, this training allows you to practice the regulated profession of Telecommunications Technical Engineer.

Worth Noting:

This program consists of 339 credits distributed in five academic years. The training includes 12 credits for the double degree final project and 12 credits for business practice. Upon completing the studies of the double degree, graduates will obtain both degrees: Degree in Mathematics and Degree in Telematics Engineering.

The subjects are studied mostly integrated into one of the groups of the degrees in Mathematics and Telematics Engineering. The content of some subjects has been adapted to avoid repetition and facilitate the training of students with an optimal itinerary.

The students of the double degree program may practice the regulated profession of technical telecommunications engineer. In addition, the degree in telematics engineering has the international quality certification EUR-ACE®.

The possibility for students to participate in international and national mobility programs is foreseen.
