Sending to Notific@

Notific@

Geiser allows official notifications to be sent to citizens through the Notific@ platform. The integration between GEISER and Notific@ only allows the citizen to access these notifications through the Citizen Folder of the General Access Point, this is the only way of availability provided by this integration. Therefore, the following ways of making notifications available to citizens are not available in the integration between GEISER and Notific@:

  • The Enabled Electronic Address (DEH).
  • The paper format, through the CIEs (Centro de Impresión y Ensobrado).

In this context, if GEISER is used to issue notifications, in any case, it will be necessary to access the Notifica Web Application to know whether the notification has been picked up by the citizen or not; that is, once a notification has been issued from GEISER, GEISER does not show whether the notification has been accepted or has expired due to non-access by the citizen.

It should be noted that it is not necessary to make an outgoing entry in GEISER in order to issue a notification to a citizen. For this purpose, the Notifica Web Application is a very simple application that makes Notifica available to the issuing units; from this application, apart from registering the notifications, it is also possible to check if they have been received and even download the certification (either of accepting the notification or of expiry due to non-access).
