This exhibition highlights their constant commitment to the cultural, economic and social progress of the Valencian people. The exhibition can be visited from 26 February to 3 April in the Sala de la Muralla del Colegio Mayor Rector Peset, a space that reinforces the academic and divulgative dimension of the project.

With a clear didactic vocation, the exhibition is created with an aim of bringing to the citizens the legacy of a fundamental institution in the modernization of Valencian society. Through the original historical documents, publications and heritage pieces, the journey provides an opportunity to learn about the significance of the Real Sociedad Economica´s uninterrupted existence for more than two and a half centuries.

One of the main goals of the exhibition is a timeline that guides the visitors through the most significant moments of the institution, from its beginning in XVIII century until today. The visual chronology highlights the main milestones, projects, initiatives promoted at each historical stage, contextualizing them in the corresponding social and political framework. It also includes thematic panels with the main aspects around the enlightened society.
