The Faculty of Economics of the Universitat de València will host, on-site, on 15 and 16 July 2025, the fifth edition of the International Conference on Innovative Education in Business and Economics (ICIEBE) Like in previous editions, the conference intends to be a space of reunion where professors can share scientific works about teaching innovation in the field of economics and management, as well as good practices and experiences in higher education.  Lecturers will receive a certificate of attendance and presentation of their works. In addition, the conference will include two practical workshops, whose training will also be certified. The format for the papers will be an extended summary of 8000 to 1,500 words in Spanish and English , following the given template. 

To recognise the best papers of the conference, in this edition:

• The Asociación Española para el Desarrollo Ejecutivo en la Ciencia + la Innovación + el Arte (ASEDEC+I+A) will grant the award for the best teaching innovation led by a female professor (certificate of recognition).
• The European Academy of Management and Business Economics (AEDEM) will grant the award for the best teaching innovation carried out by a PhD candidate (certificate of recognition). This recognition will also include a free one-year membership to the Academy for the recipient.
• The Red de Jóvenes Investigadores en Economía Social (REJIES) will grant the award for the best teaching innovation in the field of social economy and the third sector (certificate of recognition). This award will also include free registration for their annual meeting.
• The Vice Dean’s Office for Graduate Studies, Research, and Innovation of the Faculty of Economics will grant the award for the best work on agile learning methodologies (certificate of recognition).
• The Chair for Business and Humanism of the Universitat de València will grant the award for the best work on sustainability (certificate of recognition).
• The Asociación de Jóvenes Investigadores en Ciencias Económicas y Dirección de Empresas (AJICEDE) will grant the award for the best work by a young professor (certificate of recognition). This award will also include free registration for their annual conference.

Furthermore, the best works will be eligible for publication in the Journal of Management and Business Education (ISSN: 2605-1044). All submitted papers will be included in the minute book of the conference.

To celebrate its fifth anniversary, the conference will also feature a free forum where students can present their undergraduate and master’s theses in poster format, with the goal of showcasing research conducted as part of their studies.  Eligible works include theses defended during the 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25 academic years. Participants will receive a certificate of recognition and may compete for the award for the best undergraduate thesis (TFG) and best master’s thesis (TFM) presented at the conference.
