The Connecting Knowledge to Industry conferences will take place on 27 and 28 May 2026 in the “Auditorio Marie Curie” of the Science Park of the Universitat de València, in Paterna, Valencia.

The programme gathers institutional representatives, university teachers, transfer managers, spin-off companies and innovation specialists to address the collaboration between university and industry, knowledge transfer and assessment of research results.

On the first day, topics such as the regional government role in the technological transfer, good practices in the collaboration of university-industry in R+D+I, the ecosystem of technological transfer of the Universitat de València and the transfer in the FORTHEM framework will be addressed.

The second day will be focused on the spin-off companies, their concept, legal framework and policies in the Universitat de València, as well as success occurrences, and accelerating structures. Workshops about Science Lean Canvas and about assessment and commercialisation of research results will also take place.

The face-to-face registration is mandatory. The online participation will be available for the conferences except for the workshops.
