CALL FOR PAPERS

Scholars are invited to submit papers for the International Conference “The Law in the Face of Natural Disasters after the 29 October floods”, which will take place at the Faculty of Law, University of Valencia, during 20–21 November 2025.

Areas of interest include: prevention and administrative management of hydrological disasters; urban planning and hydraulic infrastructure aimed at risk mitigation; political management of emergencies; and economic, social, and environmental recovery processes.

Paper proposals (in the form of a full article or an extended abstract of at least two pages) must be submitted by the 30th of September to: claudia.gimeno@uv.es.

Participants are expected to cover their own attendance expenses. However, the organisers will cover costs (up to a maximum of €300) for three papers selected by the Scientific Committee on the basis of their academic interest, quality, and rigour.
