The 2025 edition finale of the FORTHEM Researcher Grand Prix, the scientific communication competition organised by the FORTHEM university alliance is here at last, where young PhD students from the nine universities that make up the alliance will give a brief presentation on their research topic. The presentations must be in English, informative and accessible to the general public so that they can reach, engage and convince an audience that is not specialised in the subject.

The winner of the 2nd PhD Thesis Dissemination Day at the University of Valencia, Mar Luna Manteca, is the UV representative in the final, which this year is being hosted by the University of Burgundy, a member of the FORTHEM alliance and winner of the 2024 edition. The ceremony will be held on Thursday 6 November in the French city of Dijon.

In this final, our representative will compete with the finalists from the semi-finals of the other eight universities in the FORTHEM alliance and will have to defend her research topic in a presentation lasting just four minutes.

Once the nine presentations are finished, a professional jury will evaluate them while those attending the event both on site and online will be able to cast their votes. The university represented by the winner of this final will host the next edition of the FORTHEM Researcher Grand Prix in 2026.
