‘Salvem les Fotos’ on Campus of the Universitat de València

Salvem les Fotos project, driven by the Universitat de València, has managed to restore more tan 2 million images from over a thousand families affected by the 2024 Dana. During 2025 and 2026, the restoring and digitalisation process will continue with new actions and conferences in every UV campus.
These conferences have two aims: to present the project and to train volunteers that want to contribute to preserve collective visual memory through photographic restoration.

9:15am – Presentation of Salvem les Fotos project

11:45am – Screening of documentary TAU (about Salvem les Fotos-UV project)
Followed by a panel session with participants and people in charge of the project
1:15pm – Visit to exhibition Art Públic
By Rosangela Aguilar, artist selected in Art Públic 2025, with a work inspired in photographies damaged by the Dana 2024
