Synopsis:

Nanotechnology can be defined as science and technology developed at an atomic and molecular level (on the scale between 1 to 100 nm.) Nanotechnology focuses on studying phenomena that happen on a nanometre scale, material developing, structures and devices that have new properties and functionalities due to their minuscule size. This nanotech revolution has also reached medicine. The application of these concepts of nanotechnology to medicine is known as nanomedicine and it can be used in diagnosis, therapy and regenerative medicine.
