The piece of work is a simplified adaptation of the book "Retrato de una mujer moderna”, by the Valencian writer Manuel Vicent.
Based on the group, and cutting times, we have put our attention in two important periods of the artistic trajectory of the Valencian singer CONCHA PIQUER: The first period, where she leaves to New York, as a child, with the company of Maestro Penella. Her mother goes with her, and she will be the one to help her get over the nostalgia of her Valencian land and to make the most of her biggest successes. And lastly, the second period, when she goes back to Spain where she will continue triumphing with her songs, before her retirement.
As a Valencian nature work, Concha Piquer, the writers Vicente Blasco Ibáñez and, as should be, Manuel Vicent, will be on stage.
