The INNODES Research Group of the Universitat de València (Spain) has been working for more than twenty years on topics related to Economic Geography, territory, planning and resource management.

The research activity of the Innovation and Local Development (INNODES) R&D Group, part of the Inter-university Institute for Local Development (IIDL) of the Universitat de València and Universitat Jaume I, focuses on aspects related to economic geography, spatial planning and regional development, particularly in the analysis of urban and metropolitan system, innovation processes, public service planning, well-being geography, social innovation, tourism and its territorial impact, sustainability and resilience and local development processes. In addition, it also focuses on the analysis of social dynamics, population movements and development cooperation in diverse territories.
