The UV Faculty of Law will hold, on 18 and 25 November, the 2nd Series of Conferences about Sustainability and Law. The first day will begin with the presentation of the UV Corporate Social Responsibility Laboratory website by María Barber, technician of the UV Prometheus Project.
Catherine Malecki, full-time Private Law professor at the Rennes 2 University, and Juan Bataller, full-time Mercantile Law professor at the UV, will give the first talk, titled ‘The UE taxonomy regulation: a key step for sustainable financie'.
The focus of the second intervention will be the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights in Latin America, led by William Vega, from the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and Rosario Serra, Full-time Constitutional Law University Professor and member of the UV Institute of Human Rights.
The fist day will finish with a presentation about the UN Global Compact and the corporate sustainability through the 2030 Agenda by Cristina Sánchez, executive director of the UN global compact in Spain, and Javier Vercher Moll, UV Associate Professor.
The second set of conferences, on 25 November, will develop around sustainability and Company Law under the supervision of the full-time Mercantile Law UV professor Josefina Boquera and with the participation of many prominent figures: Juan Ignacio Peinado, full-time Mercantile Law professor at the UMA; Juan Bateller, full-time Mercantile Law UV professor; Andrés Recalde, full-time Mercantile Law professor at the UAM; Antonio Roncero, full-time Mercantile Law professor at the UCLM, and Jesús Olavarría, UV Mercantile Law associate professor.
