INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS AND SEMINAR
During Human Rights Week, we will collaborate in organizing the International Congress and Seminar: “Justice for Palestine. Perspectives from International Criminal Law and International Human Rights Law” (December 10–11, 2025). The Congress is organized by the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia, together with the Turkiye Hukuk Platform, which brings together various universities and institutions from Türkiye.

CONGRESS TOPICS
The International Criminal Court and the investigation on Palestine: current developments.
Political challenges and threats faced by the ICC.
The role of NGOs in the ICC investigation on Palestine.
Universal jurisdiction.
The Congress will include round tables on the topics mentioned above, each with five or six experts offering an interdisciplinary approach.
There will also be an open call for papers, and the best proposals will be discussed within the corresponding round tables, depending on their subject matter.
On the second day, a Seminar will be held, open to invited participants.

Participation is free of charge. Funding is available to cover travel and accommodation expenses for a limited number of selected papers.
The publication of the proceedings is scheduled for April 2026.
