The book “Promoting healthy and sustainable lifestyles in the School: Needs and Challenges when Consolidating the Territory” has been published.
Within this book, readers will find a global and interdisciplinary perspective of the factors that favour the creation of a programme destined to promote healthy and sustainable lifestyles in the context of the School as part of the EVEREST’s Project outreach activities. The people in charge of this book ensured that professors with a wealth of experience in the context of rural territories participated, Moreover, researchers who are aware of the needs, challenges and strengths rural areas have in regional, national and international territories also joined this project.
The EVEREST Project: Lifestyles at the Eco-sustainable and Healthy School in the Territory is promoted by the COS Research Group (GIUV2017-678) from the Universitat de València and funded by the Council Office of Education, Universities and Employment (CIAICO/2023/091 GVA). Its goal is to join the rural schools from the Valencian Community in their diagnosis, creation, implementation and evaluation of a programme regarding the promotion of healthy and sustainable lifestyles in rural territories.
