En l'actualitat, la societat demanda nous dispositius per a monitorar aplicacions reals per a resoldre problemes in situ i facilitar la presa de decisions. D'altra banda, és obligatori considerar la sostenibilitat d'una possible solució i este projecte se centra en este sentit en el context de l'anàlisi in situ introduint noves ferramentes per a resoldre problemes mediambientals, agroalimentaris, industrials i de salut i generant nou coneixement.

The project addresses the problem Europe is facing due to the high concentration of nitrogen (>50mg/l) in more than 18% of its groundwater, which poses a risk to both public health and biodiversity. In this way, the project acts on the techniques used for the separation of nitrates in water treatment and potabilisation plants, which generate waste water with a high concentration of nitrates that ends up being discharged into the sewage system and subsequently treated in wastewater treatment plants. As a solution to this problem, the project proposes the application of electrochemical denitrification as a technique for treating water with a high nitrogen load.

NH3ControlFarm helps to improve poultry health and prevent acid rain. This project is funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation with NextGenerationEU funds (PRTR-C17.I1) and by the Generalitat Valenciana under AGROALNEXT/2022/019. The project is included in the AGROALNEXT Complementary Agri-Food Plan of the Valencian Community. Funding: €199,410.

The main objective of NewLabPortableTools is to develop new tools that contribute to the intersection zone between green and sustainable chemistry in the context of liquid chromatography (LC) and asymmetrical flow field flow fractionation (AF4) from in tube solid phase microextraction (IT-SPME) coupling for lab and on-site solving of environmental, industrial and health problems.
